When I First met Anthony it was back when he was on Birdhouse, me and him got stuck in the back of the van with the smelly gas gene-skater and dirt grime filled mops and push brooms, One day I was over it so i screamed out SHOT GUNNNN and I took shot gun.

Brian Sumner is from the UK and does not know or get the game of shot gun, so he got way pissed and he threatened me with my life and said he earned the right to be in shot gun etc, so back to the back I went. I told ant, ” Yo man it is mad drama around here if u take shotty I noticed’ Ant just said ” as long as I am in he van I am cool” .The dude cracks me up and has some of the beast one liners ever.

Olliemag: Worst road trip you ever been on?

Anthony Shetler: The worst road trip i went on was when i road for birdhouse, we went to miami and skated all the same spots that were in all the skate video’s, i know there is alot of good shit in miami but for some reason we went to all the shit that was already blown out.

Olliemag: Who were some of your influences in skateboarding?

Anthony Shetler: Honestly not to many, i’ll say Suski, Cardiel, Cairo, Businetz, but mostly i draw my inspiration from hip hop, pretty much anyone who understand that life is a blessing and that we got to chase our dreams while we can, i like skaters that dont try to hide there efforts, like you can tell that they work hard at it and it was their own steeze, like why do skaters bust there ass to act like it was easy?

Olliemag: Any funny story’s from the old 5 boro days?

Anthony Shetler: Umm the fiveboro days were crazy , i loved every second of it, we would just take over any place we would go.

Olliemag: Any Brandon westgate story’s?

Anthony Shetler: yeah i never brought this up to him, but he was over my house one night and we had some girls and stuff over and he got really drunk and passed out on my couch and then left super early, but when I got up there was a huge piss stain on my couch, so im thinking it was him, so if he reads this he will finally know i think it was him who peed on my couch haha, Brandon is the best he is family to me

Olliemag: What are some of your hobby’s out side of skating?

Anthony Shetler: well right now im working on my own skate video , ill have a full part , nick dopierre, westgate , barley, mike espinosa, and a bunch of other local heads will be in it, its gonna be called ALL I NEED, it will be out in march, besides that hanging out with my family, playing poker and pool.

Olliemag: Do people still fuck with Seamus for looking like Ben?

Anthony Shetler: Not so much any more, but I guess I still should, cuz he still looks
like Ben Affleck.

Olliemag: Do people still give you shit for looking like Cage?

Anthony Shetler: Not in a long time, but i think its funny when people say it, i mean i
do look like the muthafucka.

Olliemag: do you ever cash in on it? or try to go to the Copula family reunion?

Anthony Shetler: Fuck I wish, that would be a sick family to be in, if I ever come across a chance to go to Copula family reunion im deff trying to pull it off.

Olliemag: Best CD you own?

Anthony Shetler: Right now I’ve been listening to Lauryn Hill unplugged, a little wierd i know but its sooo good, pretty much anything by Jay-z, Talib, Kanye, Biggie, Pac of course, i love all types of hip hop.
