Vans TNT2 Mid Shoe Review

June 10th, 2008 Posted in Featured, Reviews

When Tony was 14 he met Bob Burnquist at a party and as they say “the rest is history”. He has been pro since he was 16 and is by far my favorite park and tranny skater of all time. He has amazing style and a balls to the walls attitude that keeps everyone watching on the seat of their pants. He goes big , he goes fast, he rocks and fucking rolls!

It’s no surprise that Tony has one of the most comfortable and skate-friendly mid top shoes on the market right now. When all the other brands were copying the half cab, Vans stepped it up a bit and made a sick and functional mid top that skates just as good as it looks.

I’ll keep this review short because I want to go out and skate.

The TNT2 was a great low top shoe but when they made a mid-top I was super stoked on it. I like skating in mids and was a huge fan of the low top TNT shoes.

The shoes have the classic Vans grippy sole as well as a great suede upper that is flexible but still stable enough to keep you from rolling your ankle as easily as you would with a low top shoe.

I’d give these shoes a 8 out of 10.
